A.Veneto: Pizza for the Nth Time

I love Pizza, more specifically I loveeeee Hawaiian Pizza. If that's not obvious by now the the earth is not round. Lol

What better way to prove my love for pizza than to eat one?

Hawaiian Pizza (Php 95)

The best thing about A.Venetto's Pizzas are their affordability. Even though affordable sometimes lead to the misconception that it's not great, it was not so.

The place give that quality vibe without the sky high price. Carla 1 and Carla 2 got Bacon & Cheeseburger Pizza. Both pizzas satisfied our cravings.

Ristorante Bigoli: Pizza, Pasta, More more more

When it comes to eating out, what's the magic word? Nah, it's not "I'll treat you out.", though that comes as a close second. The magic word is unlimited. Just the thought of it makes me giddy.

Sunday is family day so we went to Eastwood. Ristorante Bigoli is our first choice since we were craving for pizza and pasta.

Bigoli has a group meal for about six persons. It consists of two pastas and a large pizza. Of course with refillable drinks and bread sticks.

Shakey's: 1954 Pizza

The secret is out! It's in the crust.

To celebrate the opening of its first pizzeria in the USA (1954), Shakey's brings back the vintage feels with its 1954 pizza.

With eye-catching fresh rosemary and basil leaves, delectable cheeses, morsels of sausage and beef, it would surely wakeup the foodie in you.

Yes, the secret's in the crust. It's soft and chewy with crispy edges. I loved the mozarella cheese and the parmesan on top, it gave the pizza its oomph!

Pizza Warehouse: Pizza Groupie

Pizza Warehouse is a newly opened pizza joint at Glorietta 3. I passed by their space last summer and it was still not there. But when my friends and I went there a week ago, we were glad to see it open.

Lucky number 14 for luurrrrvvvv.  Mehhh.

Truthfully, the place reminded me of our school's cafeteria with the white table tops and all.

All Cheese Pizza (Php 99)

Cheese Pizza, hurray for cheese. It tasted  cheesy. Not to salty, slightly creamy and addictive. Great for cravings!

Pepperoni Pizza (Php 109)

The pizza was hard to cut. The toppings come off when you try to slice it. I don't really know why, maybe because the aircon was on and the pizza was out for a while before we ate it.

Best eaten when served!

California Pizza Kitchen

Summer makes a person think of the beach and the sun. The beach and the sun makes a person think of California.

Today's foodventure is in California, not the state but the kitchen.

California Pizza Kitchen beat iHop by a bit, we decided to eat here since it was about late lunch and iHop had the breakfast feels.

I ordered the Mozzarella Sticks for starters. It was appetizing, the cheese was perfectly melted and the bread crisp. But the pizza sauce could've tasted better if it was heated. It clearly felt like it was right out of the fridge.

Erwin chose the Carbonara as our pasta dish. I like my pasta with a creamier taste so this was just okay for me. The green peas are a first though, maybe because I'm not such a vegan.

Nolita: A Taste of New York

Pizza.

That one word gets your mouth watering and your stomach grumbling. Even now as I write this post, I wish I'm having a slice.

To celebrate the last day of summer class, we or I decided to eat pizza. My eating buddy was very bent on letting me eat what and where I want.

I guess I've made the right decision.

Nolita or North of Little Italy offers big, authentic, New York style pizza. We visited their BGC branch since the location is very convenient and near Makati where I study.

My foodventure buddy, Erwin.

It was around 11am when we arrived and the place was about half full. This was a very lucky coincidence. As soon as the lunch crowd arrived, the place was alive and very busy that the lines were long and tables were full.

There were so many choices that I had a hard time picking what I wanted. I have this very weird and sometimes irritating manner of liking to eat all the food I see, I have a hard time choosing.

I also read on quite a few blogs that the Spinach and Artichoke Pizza tasted great. It almost made me choose it but I was very hesistant seeing those green leaves.

So in the end, I choose the Chicken and Parmesan Pizza. Erwin had the Buffalo Chicken without Blue Cheese.

I loved the Chicken and Parmesan but I think it is best eaten while hot so you can fully taste the cheese. I grew tired of it towards the end because I thought there was too much tomato sauce. And because I ate gyudon before I went there. I'd give this pizza 8/10 👍👍👍

Buffalo Chicken without Blue Cheese also tasted great that I wanted to exchange pizzas. The spiciness of the dish made it addictive. Erwin finished his as a testament of the pizza's greatness.

I am also a fan of sour things. I found their lemonade satisfying although not a great partner with the pizza I chose. Too much tomato sauce and lemonade can't be good, can it?

Despite that situation I still think that their lemonade is one of the best. 10/10 Real lemonade in fact, pulps and all. It was just a shame that we didn't get to try their watermelonade. Virgin, ofcourse.
